Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 July 2026. This explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
1. Who we are
EOI Track (“we”, “us”) is an independent, unofficial tool that turns Australia’s published SkillSelect data into plain-English estimates. This policy covers the website (eoitrack.com.au) and the EOI Track mobile app.
2. What we collect
Account: your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your name and profile picture. What you enter: the occupation, points, date of effect, saved journeys and any credential dates you choose to add. Technical: your IP address and basic request logs (used to keep the service running and to prevent abuse), and a session cookie so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. How we use it
To operate the service — sign you in, calculate and save your place in the queue, and (for users who haven’t turned it off) email you when your position changes. We also use technical data to secure the service and stop automated abuse. We rely on legitimate interest and your consent (which you give by signing in and using the service).
4. Who we share it with
We share the minimum needed with service providers who help us run EOI Track:
• Google — if you use Google sign-in (identity only).
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the sign-in form.
• Our email provider — to send sign-in links, codes and alerts.
• Anthropic (Claude) — when you use AI Discovery or the assistant,
your question and the relevant public data are sent to generate an answer; your name
and account identity are not.
• Stripe — only if/when you pay for Plus (we never store full card
details).
• Hosting — our servers run on Amazon Web Services in Sydney,
Australia.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
5. Where your data lives & how long we keep it
Your data is stored on servers in Australia. We keep your account data while your account is active. Sign-in tokens and codes expire within minutes; short-lived technical logs are rotated. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data promptly, except anything we must keep by law.
6. Your choices & rights
You can turn position alerts on or off at any time (every alert email also has a one-click unsubscribe). You can edit or delete your saved journeys in the app or website. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information — just email us. We’ll handle requests consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. Children
EOI Track is a general-audience tool for skilled-migration planning and isn’t directed at children. Please don’t use it if you are under 16.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves; the “last updated” date above will change. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app or website.
9. Contact
Questions, or want your data deleted? Email dipangshud@gmail.com or use Send us a message.
EOI Track is independent and unofficial. General information from public data — not migration advice.
